We are at the Seven Day Countdown!
This historic election will be decided on ability to turn out voters, new and old , on election day. The Get Out the Vote operations of labor, African American, Latino, women, youth and senior organizations are in full gear. Each and every phone call, door knock, conversation or ride to the polls can be decisive for Regime Change.No effort should be spared. If you haven’t yet made plans to take off work or school on election day, it’s not toolate. Every possible full-time volunteer is needed on Tuesday November 2nd . If you can’t get the whole day off, your time before and after work will be invaluable. If at allpossible, utilize the whole weekend and Monday to join withothers in the final hours to mobilize voters to the polls. If you are uncertain how to plug in, give your District leadership or the national organizing department a call. Right-wing Republican attempts to suppress the vote and seize this election are under scrutiny and challenge. In the event that the country is confronted with a 2000-type situation, we will develop our response strategically along with and as part of the broad alliance with whom we have been working so hard to get out the vote. Our collective work has been phenomenal – now, on to the home stretch!
