Action Alert: Out of Falluja, Out of Iraq!
Bush, the "war president," knows that with civilians and American soldiers dying everyday, his pointless blood bath inIraq is unpopular. That's why he waited until after the elections to attack the city of Falluja. As soon as the campaign season was over, Bush took the opportunity to claim a false mandate to pursue his policies of aggression agains tthe world. It's up to us, the young people who've opposed this war from the very beginning, to continue to speak out against occupation and war. Of course, we can't expect that the fighting will stop in Falluja - we have to be on the alert and consistent in our call for a peaceful solution in Iraq that brings the troops home. Use this alert from the national coalition United forPeace and Justice as a guide --- suggest actions to your local peace group, high school social justice group, or meetup club.
